Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Gracie looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Pujols gets caught flat footed, as Gracie shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Pujols working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gracie doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gracie manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Pujols bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Gracie's guard.

Gracie tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Pujols tries to free his leg and advance position but Gracie is retaining full guard.
Pujols is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Gracie is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Gracie has escaped and now he's on top!
Gracie stands and steps away. Pujols gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Gracie goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Gracie moves in looking to clinch but Pujols pushes him off.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Pujols jumps guard but Gracie stands there with Pujols around his waist. Pujols gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Pujols has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Gracie avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Pujols tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Gracie just stands there and leans against the cage.
Pujols tries to score a body lock takedown but Gracie shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Gracie misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Pujols.
Pujols goes for a takedown in the clinch but Gracie prevents it.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Pujols prevents Gracie from getting the reversal.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Hickson Gracie will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Gracie throws a nice looking combination but Pujols bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Pujols shoots in for a takedown but Gracie shows good takedown defense.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Pujols.

and Pujols takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Gracie looks to land a combination but Pujols avoids it well.
Pujols moves out of range as Gracie throws a body kick.

Gracie is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Pujols defends it well.
