The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Filipek closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into OReilly's guard.
OReilly bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Filipek's guard.

Filipek is looking for a triangle but OReilly pushes his legs off easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
OReilly passes Filipek's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Filipek is staying active underneath OReilly, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Filipek is trying to stand back up but OReilly is controlling him

OReilly is looking for a kimura but Filipek is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for OReilly to get the leverage.
OReilly is keen to just control but Filipek is a slippery customer.
Filipek misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with OReilly in particular looking to stall.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

OReilly in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Filipek tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from OReilly!
