The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shirou Masuda and Hirohito Nitta.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kilkenblad has managed to clinch.
Kilkenblad makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

It looks like Iron Velasquez has been cut.

Kilkenblad breaks the clinch.
Velasquez plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

It looks like Veikko Kilkenblad has been cut.
Velasquez throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Kilkenblad counters with a nice uppercut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kilkenblad throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kilkenblad ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Velasquez moves away.
Velasquez throws a left and a right that both miss
and Kilkenblad counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
A lazy left from Velasquez finds it's target.
Velasquez throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kilkenblad sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Velasquez throws a sloppy body shot

and Kilkenblad counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Kilkenblad keeps control of Velasquez as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
A short body shot lands from Kilkenblad as the two fighters clinch.
Velasquez tries to break free but Kilkenblad pushes him back against the ropes.
Kilkenblad lands a shoulder strike.

Iron Velasquez's cut is getting worse.
Velasquez is breathing heavily.
Kilkenblad digs a right hand into Velasquez's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Velasquez's gas tank.
Kilkenblad lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Kilkenblad creates a bit of space for himself and unleashed what can only be described as a tiger uppercut, straight out of Street Fighter! Velasquez crashes to the mat! Can he make it back to his feet in time? 3,4,5, yes, he's made it back to his feet. He seems OK so it looks like we're going to continue!

Velasquez is rocked!

Iron Velasquez's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Kilkenblad ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kilkenblad circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Velasquez tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Kilkenblad wins by KO!
