Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Kenichi Hosakawa and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Funkyama misses with a wild body shot.
Compton lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Funkyama circles away quickly and effectively.
Funkyama uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Compton.
Funkyama throws a nice inside leg kick.
Funkyama connects with a body shot that sends Compton's belly button to the back.
Funkyama jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Funkyama takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Compton scores with a hook.
Funkyama lets loose with a powerful body kick. Compton will feel that in the morning.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Compton feints a jab promting Funkyama to slip. Compton then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Funkyama slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Compton has managed to clinch.
Compton keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Funkyama's efforts to push away.
Funkyama is looking to control Compton's arms but Compton gets an underhook and turns him. Now Funkyama has his back to the ropes.
Funkyama is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Compton is defending well for now.
Funkyama tries to break free but Compton pushes him back against the ropes.
Funkyama lands a knee to the body.
Funkyama's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Compton lands a right and a left and another right! Funkyama goes down! Oh, he's in big, big trouble! 3,4,5,6,7,8... he's up to one knee... 9,10! He can't beat the count - this one is all over!
