Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rob Bot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charlie Weis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rob Bot could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Charlie Weis's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weis with a poor takedown

so Bot counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Weis is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Weis trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Bot postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Weis is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Bot stopping the sweep attempt from Weis.
Bot missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Weis has his foot on Bot's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bot works his way back into a safe position though.

Weis is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Bot lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Bot trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Bot pushing down on Weis's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bot wants to control but Weis is keeping him busy.
Bot is nestled in close to Weis, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Bot looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Weis with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Bot seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Weis does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Bot is pressing down on Weis's thigh, looking to free his foot. Weis is holding on for now.

Bot is trying to control the action in half guard but Weis is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Bot lands a nice short elbow.
Bot takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Weis is rocked!
Weis looks gassed!
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Weis is still in real trouble! Can Bot finish him?
Bot has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Bot unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Weis wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Bot celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
