The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown thuds his right hand into Orakpo's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

It looks like Brian Orakpo has been cut.
Tyler Brown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Brown lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Orakpo sprawling to the canvas. Brown follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Orakpo hang on?

Orakpo is rocked!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Brown connects with a nice short shot to Orakpo's temple.
Orakpo is still in real trouble! Can Brown finish him?
Orakpo regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Brown.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Orakpo has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Brown off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Brown tries for a takedown but Orakpo sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

and Orakpo counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Orakpo pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

It looks like Tyler Brown has been cut.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Orakpo looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Brown covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
