Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Frisco Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charlie Beecham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Charlie Beecham looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Frisco Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Charlie Beecham!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Andrew Berry and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lee feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Lee stopping the sweep attempt from Beecham.

Lee gets to his feet - Beecham follows without any prompting.
Beecham shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Lee defends it nicely.

Lee shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Beecham's guard.

Lee stands and steps away. Beecham gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

and Lee counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Lee.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lee tries to free his leg and advance position but Beecham is retaining full guard.
Beecham is trying to keep Lee in close.

Lee gets to his feet. Beecham looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lee shoots and misses
and Beecham counters with a series of strikes. Lee will be more careful next time no doubt.
Beecham looks gassed!
Beecham will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Lee leaves Beecham with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Frisco Lee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Charlie Beecham.
Lee tries for a takedown but Beecham sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Beecham throws a head kick but Lee moves out of range.
Nice sprawl there from Beecham as Lee shoots in.

Lee shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Beecham napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Lee thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Beecham is looking to regain half guard here but Lee keeps moving and retains side control.

Lee decides to stand up, so the ref orders Beecham to his feet.

Lee gets a takedown into half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Lee is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Beecham wants to control but Lee is keeping busy and won't allow it.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Lee wants to lay and pray for a moment but Beecham keeps working.
Lee not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Beecham avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Lee.

Lee stands up and beckons Beecham to join him on the feet.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Lee.

Lee bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Beecham is trying to get back to his feet.
Lee trying to control the position but Beecham is working away.

Lee tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Lee stands up and beckons Beecham to his feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lee doesn't manage to clinch there - Beecham circles away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Frisco Lee dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Lee shoots in for a takedown but Beecham shows good takedown defense.

Lee forces Beecham back against the cage and clinches.
Beecham blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Beecham slows down the pace here.

Lee wants the takedown. Beecham is fighting it off but Lee persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Beecham's guard against the cage.

Beecham is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Lee will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Beecham is breathing heavily.

Lee gets to his feet. Beecham looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Beecham tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lee paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Beecham doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Lee decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Beecham's guard.

Lee drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Lee jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Lee is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Beecham is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Beecham has escaped and now he's on top!

Lee is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Beecham is aware though and is defending well.
Lee is trying to keep Beecham in close.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lee wants to sweep here but Beecham controlling him for the moment.

Lee looking for a guillotine here but Beecham defends easily.

Lee escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Beecham gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Frisco Lee overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Beecham trying to control but Lee is working from the bottom.

Beecham stopping the sweep attempt from Lee.

Beecham is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Lee has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Beecham is looking to defend but Lee has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Beecham! Lee pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Beecham taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Frisco Lee!
