PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Caio Pardo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rio Bignog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pardo comes into the arena with Move blaring out of the sound system. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bignog keeps the fight on the outside.
Bignog defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Pardo.
Pardo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bignog paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Pardo misses with a few strikes there.

and Bignog counters with a straight right hand.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Pardo is defended easily by Bignog.
Pardo tries to clinch there but Bignog circles away.
Pardo rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bignog moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Bignog feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Pardo is trying to break the clinch but Bignog is controlling him.

A punch lands to the side of Bignog 's head but he takes it in his stride.
