The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steele ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ignatowski moves away.
Ignatowski looks to throw the jab but Steele is out of range.
Ignatowski takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Ignatowski lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Steele circles away quickly and effectively.

Ignatowski throws a left and a right that both miss
and Steele counters with a nice body shot.

Ignatowski shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Ignatowski was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Ignatowski is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Steele can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
The referee warns Steele that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Steele really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ignatowski. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Ignatowski postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Steele looks a forlorn figure.

Ignatowski is working for a guillotine from mount but Steele frees his head quite easily.

Ignatowski is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Steele is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Steele flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Ignatowski anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Steele and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Ignatowski slips an arm under Steele chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Ignatowski has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Ignatowski is squeezing on Steele like an anaconda would it's prey. Steele fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
