Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Caz Deane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick OShea (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Caz Deane!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Steve Smith and Yves DeLean.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deane throws a nice looking combination but OShea bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Deane lands a two punch combo.
Caz Deane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Deane lands with a hook. OShea tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Deane misses with a series of wild punches.
OShea shoots in but no luck this time.
OShea fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Deane tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but OShea paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Deane fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with OShea, pushing him back against the cage.

Deane breaks the clinch.

Deane closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Deane is trying to break the clinch but OShea is controlling him.
OShea is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Deane is defending well.
Caz Deane has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rick OShea.
Deane keeps control of OShea as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Deane wants the takedown. OShea is fighting it off but Deane persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in OShea's guard against the cage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

OShea looking for a guillotine here but Deane defends easily.

Deane got a little sloppy there for a moment and OShea has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Deane has managed to get both his arms back between OShea's legs - danger averted.

Deane won't allow OShea to sweep him here.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
There's a bit of a scramble here and now OShea is on top in guard.
OShea wants to control from the top but Deane keeps moving.
OShea throws a big elbow that misses.
OShea is looking to work some ground and pound but Deane has wrist control.
OShea slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
It looks like OShea might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

OShea trying to control the position from guard on top but Deane is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

OShea engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

Rick OShea has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

OShea takes the fight into the clinch.
OShea is looking to break free of the clinch but Deane has double underhooks.
OShea tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
OShea is trying to break the clinch but Deane has him pressed against the cage.
OShea can't get the takedown.
Deane is defending well against a takedown attempt.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as OShea takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Deane has had enough of the clinch but OShea keeps him there for the moment.
Deane is trying to push OShea away but OShea has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
OShea has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Deane avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

OShea misses with a short punch on the inside.
OShea wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
OShea has Deane pressed against the cage, preventing Deane from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

Deane utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Deane is breathing heavily.
OShea is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
