Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Erlenmeyer Flask (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cedric Caraan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Caraan has chosen TubThumping(I get Knockdown) as his entrance music. Erlenmeyer Flask has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Erlenmeyer Flask!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Cedric Caraan!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flask lands with an uppercut that bounces Caraan off the cage and back into range.
Caraan shoots and misses
and Flask counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Caraan thinking.

and Caraan counters with a good low kick that Flask was not able to check.

Flask tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Caraan was well out of range. Poor timing from Flask.
Caraan displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Flask throws out the jab.
Caraan shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Flask sprawls well. Flask wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Caraan gets slowly back to his feet.
Flask throws a low kick but Caraan moves out of range easily.

Flask does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

and Caraan counters with a nice double leg into side control. Flask won't be happy with that.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Caraan thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Caraan tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Caraan has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Flask is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Flask has one foot on Caraan's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Horrible takedown by Caraan or perhaps it was just good defense by Flask which made him look bad.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Flask throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Caraan was covering up waiting for the punch and Flask finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Flask is looking to take a break and control but Caraan is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Flask has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Caraan is trying to escape the mount.

Flask looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Caraan covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
