The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Centurion showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Mario.

Centurion closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Centurion lands in his opponent's guard.
Centurion seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Centurion is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Mario is looking for a triangle here but Centurion uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mario is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Centurion has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Centurion controlling the position from side mount.
Mario on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Centurion is looking to take a break and control but Mario is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Centurion lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Mario down.

Centurion is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Mario is forced to tap! Great finish!
