Wilcox kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Danger: Wildman. Experiment I has chosen Dancing Queen as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wilcox feints and as Experiment I raises his hands in defense, Wilcox changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Wilcox throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Experiment I works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Wilcox postures up and lands a big shot to Experiment I's brow.
Experiment I keeping moving, preventing Wilcox from controlling successfully.
Experiment I avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Wilcox slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Wilcox postures up in Experiment I's guard and throws a big left but Experiment I blocks it.

Wilcox pushes down on Experiment I's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Wilcox pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Wilcox connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Wilcox postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Experiment I looks a forlorn figure.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Wilcox is in the full mount, landing strikes.

The cut above Russian Experiment I's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Wilcox has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Experiment I's face.
Experiment I is still in real trouble! Can Wilcox finish him?

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Russian Experiment I's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
