Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Drew Pinksy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Saul Trejo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Trejo has chosen Red Flag by Billy Talent as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pinksy displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Trejo.

Trejo connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Pinksy to the floor! Trejo dives in looking for the finish!

It looks like Drew Pinksy has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Trejo is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Pinksy is defending against the submission attempts here by Trejo.

Trejo is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Trejo looks to land a strike but Pinksy avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Trejo is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Pinksy is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Pinksy has escaped and now he's on top!

Pinksy gets to his feet - Trejo follows without any prompting.
Pinksy lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Pinksy.

Trejo blocks a head kick by Pinksy.

Trejo throws a sloppy head kick
and Pinksy connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Pinksy moves out of range of the body kick from Trejo.
Pinksy lands a right hook to the body.
Trejo throws a left and a right that both miss
letting Pinksy counter with a right hand.
Pinksy keeps the fight on the outside.
Trejo misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Trejo blocks a head kick by Pinksy.
Trejo tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Trejo throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Pinksy tumbling to the canvas!

Pinksy is rocked!

Trejo is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Oh Pinksy is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Trejo drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Pinksy dives on top into guard.

Pinksy wants to stand but Trejo has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Pinksy is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Trejo has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Pinksy is looking to defend but Trejo has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Pinksy! Trejo pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Pinksy taps out and this one is all over!
