The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Recopa with a lazy takedown attempt

and Ostergaard counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Ostergaard.
Ostergaard has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Recopa is looking for a triangle but Ostergaard pushes his legs off easily.

Recopa has his foot on Ostergaard's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ostergaard works his way back into a safe position though.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Recopa is looking to sinch up a triangle. Ostergaard throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Recopa's body to avoid the submission. Recopa has instead reached around Ostergaard's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Recopa arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
