Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Steve Hershey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aidan Kincaid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hershey comes to the cage accompanied by Ova Here. Aidan Kincaid has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Steve Hershey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 20 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Aidan Kincaid!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hershey wants to land a leg kick but Kincaid is out of range.
Hershey shoots in for a takedown but Kincaid shows good takedown defense.
Kincaid avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Hershey misses with a takedown
and Kincaid counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Hershey thinking.
Nice uppercut lands for Kincaid. That snapped Hershey's head back.
Kincaid misses with a jab, cross combination.
Steve Hershey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hershey tries to bum rush Kincaid with a series of wild strikes but Kincaid uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Kincaid connects with a right hand. Hershey shakes it off.
Hershey will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hershey looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Hershey misses with a low kick as Kincaid jumps back.

Hershey motions for Kincaid to come forward. Hershey throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Kincaid stalks Hershey and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Hershey's face. Hershey staggers backwards, shaken.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hershey tries to land a front kick but Kincaid steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Hershey throws a leg kick
and Kincaid counters with a right hand to the body.
Hershey closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Hershey turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Kincaid closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Hershey to the mat! Hershey manages to get full guard.

Kincaid stands and steps away. Hershey gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Hershey tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Kincaid counters with a three punch combo that has Hershey backing up. Hershey nods at Kincaid to acknowledge the strikes.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hershey is defended easily by Kincaid.

Hershey throws a lazy head kick
and Kincaid counters with a left to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kincaid checks a leg kick.
Hershey will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Hershey is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hershey swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

That was a close round but I would say that Steve Hershey will probably get the nod.

Hershey walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Kincaid checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

and Kincaid counters with a left to the body.
Hershey misses with a low kick as Kincaid jumps back.
Hershey will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Kincaid scores with a decent looking hook.
Hershey misses with a leg kick.
Kincaid throws a big shot that misses.
Kincaid misses with an uppercut. Hershey saw that one coming.
Kincaid lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Kincaid moves away from the strike by Hershey.
Kincaid swats away the attempt to clinch by Hershey.
Hershey takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Hershey fails to land with a series of punches.

Kincaid closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Hershey quickly recovers to half guard.
Kincaid prevents Hershey from standing back up.
Kincaid takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Hershey is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Hershey is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Kincaid connects with a nice short shot to Hershey's temple.

Kincaid is controlling the pace.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Kincaid frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kincaid tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Hershey trying desperately to get to his feet.

Kincaid sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Hershey might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kincaid raining down hammerfists from mount.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Kincaid content just to control the position here.
Hershey's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Hershey tries to hold on but Kincaid pushes him away.
Kincaid looking to control and managing it successfully.

Hershey is working to get back to half guard.
Hershey flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Hershey tries to lock up and control but Kincaid gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Kincaid working the ground and pound effectively.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hershey is looking to improve his position but Kincaid isn't that keen on the idea.
You get the feeling that Hershey really doesn't like being in this position too much.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hershey keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Kincaid with the ground and pound from mount.

Aidan Kincaid showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Hershey drops his hands momentarily and Kincaid takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Steve Hershey is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Hershey misses with a combination
and Kincaid cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Hershey misses with a double jab
and Kincaid counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Hershey thinking.
Hershey throws a left and a right that both miss
and Kincaid counters with a nice uppercut.

Kincaid rushes Hershey and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Kincaid with a knee to the head.

Kincaid escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kincaid blocks a low kick nicely.
Hershey throws a leg kick but Kincaid sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Hershey throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Kincaid counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Kincaid thuds his right hand into Hershey's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Hershey pivots, looking for a leg kick but Kincaid is out of range and Hershey settles back down.
Aidan Kincaid seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Kincaid fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Hershey throws a lazy head kick
and Kincaid counters with a straight right hand.
Hershey looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kincaid is fending him off so far but Hershey persists. Nope, Kincaid circles away and we're back to standing.
Kincaid bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Hershey's head.
Good shot there by Kincaid.

Hershey throws a right hand that misses
and Kincaid connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.


Hershey is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hershey is looking to chop away at Kincaid's legs.

letting Kincaid counter with a right hand.
Oh Hershey is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hershey ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Hershey seems to have got his legs back now.
Kincaid scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Hershey takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Hershey looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
Kincaid drops Hershey with a big left hand! Hershey is injured, injured bad! Kincaid jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
