Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Matt Sabre!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Harri Hippi!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Marco Blurström and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hippi throws a poor cross that misses
and Sabre counters with a one-two to the body.
Decent striking displayed by Hippi there.
Hippi lands a jab to the nose.
Sabre scores with a shot to the body.
Hippi looks gassed!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sabre with a hook.


It looks like Harri Hippi has been cut.
Hippi throws a right hand that misses

and Sabre counters with a takedown into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Sabre in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Sabre postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Sabre misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Sabre wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hippi keeps working.
Sabre throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Hippi works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.

Matt Sabre has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Hippi fails to land with a series of punches.
Sabre misses with a wild body shot.

Sabre lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Sabre connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Hippi momentarily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

and Sabre counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Sabre just misses with a elbow thrown towards Hippi's brow.

Sabre keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Hippi's efforts to push away.
Hippi is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
A nice right hand lands inside from Sabre.

Sabre blocks an uppercut.
Hippi misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Sabre scores with a nice hook to the head.

Sabre throws a punch but it's blocked by Hippi.
Sabre tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Hippi avoids it.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Sabre creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

Hippi is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hippi is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Sabre is defending well for now.
Sabre misses with a hook to the ribs.
Hippi avoids the elbow strike from Sabre, against the cage.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Hippi takes an elbow to the temple.

Sabre is looking to control Hippi's arms but Hippi gets an underhook and turns him. Now Sabre has his back to the cage.
Sabre scores with a shot to the side of Hippi's head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

A nice left hand lands by Sabre.
Sabre creates some distance and fires off a vicious elbow that drops Hippi! He pounces and finishes the fight with more strikes! Nice KO for Sabre.
