PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between jj Hart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alec Drunell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Drunell comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Freaks and Geeks - Childish Gambino kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hart fails with an attempt to clinch.
Hart takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Drunell gets a clinch.

Drunell breaks from the clinch.
Hart throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Hart goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Hart really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Drunell closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Drunell stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Drunell wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Hart has him pressed against the cage.
Hart has had enough of the clinch but Drunell keeps him there for the moment.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Drunell creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Drunell pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Hart darts in and clinches Drunell up against the cage.

Drunell's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Drunell duly obliges.
Hart lands a head kick!

Hart closes the distance and pushes Drunell back into the cage.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Drunell drops Hart with a beautiful combination! Hart stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Drunell is looking for the KO!

Hart is rocked!

It looks like jj Hart has been cut.
Drunell connects with a nice cross there... Hart is looking wobbly and Drunell recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Hart to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Drunell jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
