Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Angelo Mantelavo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julien Escobedo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Mantelavo might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Long Hard Road Out Of Hell by Marilyn Manson. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Escobedo throws a head kick that misses.
Angelo Mantelavo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mantelavo throws the left hand but Escobedo avoids the punch easily.
Escobedo displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Mantelavo.
Mantelavo shoots in but no luck this time.
Escobedo ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Escobedo lands a big head kick that sends Mantelavo tumbling to the mat! Escobedo takes a step backwards and waves Mantelavo back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Angelo Mantelavo has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mantelavo takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Mantelavo throws a right and a left that Escobedo avoids nicely.
Escobedo pulls out of a head kick attempt.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Mantelavo is defended easily by Escobedo.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Angelo Mantelavo. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Escobedo lands a left and a right that send Mantelavo crashing to the mat, dazed. Escobedo thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Mantelavo is breathing heavily.

Mantelavo avoids the head kick by Escobedo.
Mantelavo closes this distance looking for a takedown but Escobedo circles away.
Escobedo throws a nice looking combination but Mantelavo bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Mantelavo just misses with a punch to the body.
Escobedo will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Escobedo lands a nice hook to Mantelavo's body. Mantelavo takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Mantelavo bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Escobedo comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Mantelavo falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Mantelavo was out before he hit the floor!
