Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Helio Kimura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kimura ducks under a wild hook from Jones.
Jones ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
No joy there for Jones, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jones scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
It looks like Helio Kimura has been cut.
Kimura closes the distance and clinches up with Jones, looking for a takedown. Kimura pushes Jones against the cage but Jones circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Jones drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jones got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kimura has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jones has managed to get both his arms back between Kimura's legs - danger averted.
Jones chips away with some ground and pound.

Kimura has momentary wrist control but Jones slips an elbow through the middle.

Jones is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Kimura looks calm but he's in trouble here. Jones gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Kimura is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Jones lets go of the hold and Kimura can pop his arm back in it's socket.
