Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ty Angle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Craig Mason (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mason leaves Angle with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Mason closes the distance and pushes Angle back into the cage.
Angle wants a takedown.
Angle is trying to pull guard but Mason has him pressed against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ty Angle. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mason struggles to land a body shot inside as Angle controls his hands.
Angle tries for a takedown. No joy.
Angle drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Mason gets the underhooks and prevents it.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Angle shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Mason sprawls well. Mason wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Angle gets slowly back to his feet.
Angle moves forwards but Mason connects with a nice, crisp jab.
No joy there for Mason, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Craig Mason is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Angle clinches up against the cage.
Mason tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Mason softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Angle is trying to drag Mason to the mat but Mason just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Angle fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Mason misses with an elbow strike.

Mason tries to stall but Angle uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Mason gets through Angle's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Angle drags the fight down to the ground.
Mason wanted to stand there but Angle had control of the position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Angle is trying to pull guard but Mason turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Angle drops down looking for an ankle pick but Mason pulls his leg out and moves away.

Angle jumps guard but Mason stands there with Angle around his waist. Angle gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Mason lands a hook to the side of the head.
Mason missing with knees to the body.
Angle is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Mason pulls him back up using the underhooks.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Mason presses Angle against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Mason trying to stall but Angle improves his position.

Mason scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Mason throws the left hand but Angle avoids the punch easily.

Mason throws a lazy right hand but Angle sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Mason leaves Angle with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Mason throws a combination. Angle tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Angle jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Mason walks away with a smile on his face. Angle gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Mason drives through and clinches with Angle against the cage.

Oh Angle is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Mason dips a shoulder and cracks Angle with a mighty uppercut! Angle falls back against the cage and Mason unloads with a barrage of strikes! Angle is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Mason screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:11 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Craig Mason!
