The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Reinhardt.
Reinhardt's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Reinhardt duly obliges.
A swing and a miss from Reinhardt.
Reinhardt misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Smith.
Reinhardt takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Smith throws a chopping leg kick but Reinhardt manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Reinhardt's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Smith connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Reinhardt scrambles back to his feet.
Reinhardt lands a jab to the nose.
The fighters circling - Smith throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Smith clinches with his opponent.
Smith has Reinhardt pushed against the cage.

Smith escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Smith bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Smith's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Reinhardt connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Smith scrambles back to his feet.
Smith thumps Reinhardt with a low kick.

A slapping leg kick lands for Smith.
Smith moves into range and connects with a jab.
Smith tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Smith lands with a kick to the ribs.
Smith punishes Reinhardt's body with a nice straight punch.
Reinhardt is breathing heavily.
Smith displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Reinhardt.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Smith lands a nice looking body shot.
Smith fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Smith drops Reinhardt with a beautiful combination! Reinhardt stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Smith is looking for the KO!

Reinhardt is rocked!

It looks like Andreas Reinhardt has been cut.
Reinhardt tries to get into range but Smith steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Reinhardt! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Smith scores the big KO victory!
