The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jones feints and as Cong raises his hands in defense, Jones changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Jones seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Jones is working Cong over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Cong has momentary wrist control but Jones slips an elbow through the middle.

Cong utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Jones lands a strong strike to the head of Cong. That's dazed him! Jones looking to finish here. Cong is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Jones lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
