Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Josh Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mitsuyo Maeda!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Anthony Taglia and Joseph Jones.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good exchange - Maeda coming out on top.
Maeda paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Jones shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Maeda as he avoids it easily.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jones is defended easily by Maeda.

Maeda throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Jones tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Maeda is in Jones's guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Maeda stands and throws Jones's legs to the side, diving into side control.

It looks like Josh Jones has been cut.

A big strike lands for Maeda! That's really hurt Jones and he's turned his back - Maeda keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Maeda jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
