Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sam Shield (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Roza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shield tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Roza avoids the head kick by Shield.
Shield throws a head kick that misses.
Roza connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Shield momentarily.
Shield throws a sloppy head kick and Roza moves out of range easily.
Roza lands a jab.
Roza swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Roza takes a head kick and keeps coming.
It looks like Justin Roza has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Roza looks to throw the jab but Shield is out of range.
Shield pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Roza looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Roza cracks Shield with a right hand to the side of the head.
Shield throws a head kick that Roza semi-blocks.
Shield avoids the body shot from Roza.
Roza fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Shield defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Roza.
Roza darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
A combination from Roza does no damage.
Roza avoids a kick to the body.

Shield stuffs the takedown attempt from Roza. Roza gets slowly back to his feet.
Sam Shield has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Justin Roza.
Roza moves out of range as Shield throws a body kick.
Roza looks to land a left hand but Shield moved out of range nicely.
Shield tries to clinch there but Roza circles away.
Shield avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Roza connects with a good right hand that stumbles Shield. Shield circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Shield misses with a head kick.
Roza throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Shield throws a sloppy head kick and Roza moves out of range easily.
Roza takes a swing at Shield's ribcage but misses.
Roza takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Shield throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Roza.
Roza is rocked!
Roza throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Shield makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Roza is still on wobbly legs! Can Shield finish him?
Roza looks gassed!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Shield thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Roza if he has to take too many more of those.
Crack! A monster head kick from Shield and Roza falls like a tree - timbeeeeeeeeeeerrrr! A highlight reel knockout by Shield!
