Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Third Boy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Rolston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boy comes to the cage accompanied by New York. James Rolston has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Third Boy's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Third Boy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, James Rolston!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Donald Grub and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boy throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Rolston staying out of range there.
Boy misses the shot to the body.
A shot to the body from Boy misses
and Rolston counters with a head kick.
Third Boy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Decent striking displayed by Rolston there.
Boy fails to land the takedown.

Rolston darts in and clinches Boy up against the cage.
Rolston lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Boy backwards.
Boy jumps guard but Rolston stands there with Boy around his waist. Boy gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Boy has Rolston pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Rolston manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Third Boy. That's going to take a lot out of him.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Boy turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Boy manages to end up in side control.
Boy in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Rolston dodges the ground and pound from Boy.
Rolston is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rolston wants to control but Boy postures up.

Rolston is staying active underneath Boy, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Boy is trying to work for a kimura but Rolston is defending well.
Boy is looking to advance position but Rolston won't allow it.
Rolston really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Boy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Rolston has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Boy is working away from the top position though.
Boy not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Boy is keen to just control but Rolston is a slippery customer.

Boy is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Boy throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Rolston to regain full guard.

Boy postures up in Rolston's guard and throws a big left but Rolston blocks it.
Boy trying to control but Rolston is working from the bottom.
Boy loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Rolston looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Boy trying to control but Rolston is working from the bottom.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Boy keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Rolston's head.
Boy in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Rolston holds on and takes a little breather.
Boy trying to control but Rolston is working from the bottom.
Rolston is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Boy throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Rolston works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Boy works over Rolston with some ground and pound from guard.
Boy passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Boy landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Boy wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rolston keeps working.
Boy lands a decent elbow from side control.
Boy sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Rolston is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Boy throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Boy thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Boy wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rolston keeps working.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Third Boy dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Boy moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Boy looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

and Rolston counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Boy dives in and grabs Rolston's left leg, looking for a takedown. Rolston pushes down on Boy's head and hops out.
Rolston throws a solid leg kick but Boy takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Rolston.
Boy throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Boy misses with an uppercut. Rolston saw that one coming.
The fight stays on the outside here - Rolston looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Boy chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Rolston can pounce on him.

Boy looking to score a takedown here. Rolston is defending well but Boy drives through and ends up in Rolston's guard.

Third Boy overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Boy wants to pass the guard but Rolston is defending well.
Boy thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Rolston's head.
Boy takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Boy throwing shots but Rolston is blocking nicely.

Boy is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Rolston is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Third Boy!
An out of breath Third Boy thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
