Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Javier Gattuso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maxi Rodriguez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gattuso's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, DMX - X Gonna Give It To Ya. The crowd seem to be enjoying Rodriguez's choice of entrance music: Eusko Abendaren Ereserkia. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rodriguez shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Rodriguez looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Rodriguez is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Gattuso makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Gattuso.

Rodriguez drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Gattuso dives on top into guard.

Rodriguez escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Gattuso gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Rodriguez throws his legs up looking for a submission but Gattuso uses it to pass to side control.

Gattuso stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Rodriguez shoots in for a double leg but Gattuso sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Rodriguez swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Gattuso is now in Rodriguez's guard. A big mistake from Rodriguez there, giving up the dominant position!

Gattuso rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rodriguez moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Rodriguez gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Gattuso gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
