Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Seo Hang Yuo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kratos Sparta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Hirohito Nitta and Yuuki Gou.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sparta fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Sparta circles away from the clinch attempt.
Sparta is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Hang Yuo.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Sparta breaks from the clinch.

and Sparta counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Sparta decides to stand up.
Sparta stuffs the takedown attempt from Hang Yuo. Hang Yuo gets slowly back to his feet.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Hang Yuo.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Seo Hang Yuo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hang Yuo tries to clinch
and Sparta makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Hang Yuo really felt that one!
Sparta shoots in but Hang Yuo avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Hang Yuo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sparta swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Sparta misses with an uppercut. Hang Yuo saw that one coming.
Sparta throws a series of punches but Hang Yuo moves out of range.

Sparta fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Hang Yuo sprawls well initially but Sparta persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Sparta is nestled in close to Hang Yuo, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Sparta is thwarting Hang Yuo's attempts to control the position.

Sparta content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Sparta connects with a nice short shot to Hang Yuo's temple.

Sparta landing punches.
Hang Yuo is in a horrible position here. Sparta smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Sparta is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Hang Yuo can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Sparta looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Hang Yuo wants to control but Sparta is having none of it.
Sparta takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Hang Yuo is looking to get to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
BOOM! Sparta connects with a massive shot to the dome!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sparta controlling the pace for now.
Sparta with a couple of short strikes.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Hang Yuo in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Sparta lands with some strikes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kratos Sparta dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Sparta drives through with a takedown into guard.
Sparta is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Sparta loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Hang Yuo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sparta on the ground.

Sparta drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Sparta as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Hang Yuo screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Sparta! Nice submission victory there!
