PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Allan Sikorsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yuri Alexeyev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sikorsky throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Alexeyev.

Alexeyev is trying to trip Sikorsky. He has hold of a leg but Sikorsky is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Alexeyev persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Allan Sikorsky will probably get the nod.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Poor strikes thrown by Alexeyev there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Sikorsky knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Alexeyev on the ground.

Alexeyev has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sikorsky can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Yuri Alexeyev showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Alexeyev changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sikorsky looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Alexeyev working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Sikorsky turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Alexeyev off and cradles Sikorsky's limp body as Alexeyev celebrates with his corner.
