Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jobson Richie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Mauricio Rocha and Edson Gomes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis lands a nice shot to the body.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Richie.
Davis leaves Richie with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Davis closes the distance and pushes Richie back into the cage.

Davis's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Richie tries to score a power double leg takedown but Davis sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Richie somewhat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jobson Richie. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Richie is breathing heavily.
Davis jabs at Richie's body.
Richie really is a fat lump.

Richie gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Davis is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Davis pushes down on Richie's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Davis has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Richie defend it? Davis steps over the head and cranks it - Richie is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Davis!
