Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cody Huber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rich Gold (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Huber comes to the cage accompanied by Stronger - Kanye West. Gold has chosen Bullet with a name as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Emerson Jorge and Thiago Cunha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Huber connects with a right hand. Gold shakes it off.
Huber tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Gold manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Huber darts in and clinches Gold up against the cage.
Huber lands an elbow that stopped Gold in his tracks for a moment.
Gold is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Gold looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Huber breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Gold gets tackled into the cage by Huber. Huber maintains the clinch.

Huber feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Gold rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Huber moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Gold gets caught flat footed, as Huber shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Gold is on top in guard.

Huber tries to land a sweep but no joy.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gold accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Gold decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Huber shoots in but no luck this time.
A looping hook to the body misses from Gold. Huber does a little dance to reset his feet.

Gold changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Huber tries to avoid it but Gold manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Huber to the ground. Huber escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Huber just misses with a elbow thrown towards Gold's brow.

Gold has Huber pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Huber manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Huber has had enough of the clinch but Gold keeps him there for the moment.

Huber creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

Huber's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

That was a close second round but I would say that Cody Huber will probably get the nod.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Huber is trying to get an arm triangle but Gold is defending well.
Huber knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gold on the ground.
Huber is looking to take a break and control but Gold is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Gold is pushing Huber's head away, looking to escape. Huber manages to hold on to the position though.

Rich Gold has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Cody Huber is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Huber decides to stand back up. Huber steps back and let's Gold get back to his feet.

I would just about give that final round to Rich Gold.
Well Huber has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
