Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Levi Zimmerman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raul Gonzalez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Zimmerman might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Holly Jolly X-mas. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Zimmerman just misses with a elbow thrown towards Gonzalez's brow.

Gonzalez tries to stall but Zimmerman uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Zimmerman has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head and Gonzalez goes down! Zimmerman dives on top of him - Gonzalez manages to get guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Zimmerman stands and throws Gonzalez's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Gonzalez is still in real trouble! Can Zimmerman finish him?
Gonzalez tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Zimmerman wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Zimmerman just content to control the position.
Gonzalez seems to have recovered his senses.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Levi Zimmerman just wasn't active enough.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Gonzalez.
The fight stays on the outside here - Zimmerman looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Zimmerman looks to land a combination but Gonzalez avoids it well.
