The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kaen looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

Neisan Kaen has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Surprise moves into the clinch.

Kaen gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Surprise can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Kaen controls the pace.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Neisan Kaen.
Surprise thuds a left hand into Kaen's body.
Kaen fails with the takedown

and Surprise counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Kaen!
Kaen sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kaen is on top in guard.

Kaen is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Kaen throwing strikes but missing.
Surprise is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Surprise looks gassed!

Kaen drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Kaen as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Surprise screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Kaen! Nice submission victory there!
