Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jeff MaGee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Dexter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). MaGee comes to the cage accompanied by I Just Had Sex (feat. Akon). Dexter has chosen The Rolling Stones - Gimme Shelter as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MaGee blocks a head kick by Dexter.
MaGee looks to throw the jab but Dexter is out of range.
Dexter fails in his attempt to clinch.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as MaGee checks a leg kick.
Nice sprawl there from Dexter as MaGee shoots in.
MaGee moves in looking to clinch but Dexter pushes him off.
Dexter circles away from the clinch attempt.
MaGee cracks Dexter with an open hand slap.
MaGee has a takedown stuffed.
Dexter lands a leg kick that knocks MaGee off balance momentarily.

This has been an exciting period of action!

MaGee has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Dexter uses from the top position.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Jeff MaGee will probably get the nod.

Dexter has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing MaGee to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Dexter is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - MaGee pulls down on the head and he's put Dexter to sleep! This one is all over!
