The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brock lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Sosnowski cracks the inside of Brock's front leg.
Brock moves in looking to clinch but Sosnowski pushes him off.
Sosnowski drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Sosnowski throws a low kick but Brock moves out of range easily.
Brock slaps away a takedown attempt from Sosnowski, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Sosnowski throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Brock's waist but Brock gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sosnowski off to one side.

Bartlomiej Sosnowski dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Sosnowski is trying hard to land a takedown here. Brock sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Sosnowski shoots in looking for a takedown. Brock tries to sprawl out of it but Sosnowski keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Brock manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Donk. Brock catches Sosnowski right on the button with a cross.

Sosnowski shoots in looking for a takedown but Brock manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Sosnowski's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Eddie Brock has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bartlomiej Sosnowski.
Brock lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
