Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Arco Amon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucentus Darklance (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lucentus Darklance acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Lucentus Darklance!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Anni Minnemäki and Roosa Järviläinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Amon tries to sprawl but Darklance drives through with a takedown into half guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Amon moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Lucentus Darklance wasn't active enough on the ground.
Darklance misses with a takedown attempt - Amon sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Amon connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Darklance momentarily.

Amon closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Amon lands in his opponent's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Amon stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Darklance swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Amon lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Darklance dodges the punch combination from Amon.
Darklance dives in and grabs Amon's left leg, looking for a takedown. Amon pushes down on Darklance's head and hops out.

A looping hook to the body misses from Amon. Darklance does a little dance to reset his feet.
Darklance uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Amon.

Darklance pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Darklance drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Amon changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Darklance looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Darklance working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Amon doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Amon manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Darklance might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Amon kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Lucentus Darklance hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Darklance throws a lazy right hand but Amon sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Darklance bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Amon shoots in for a takedown but Darklance shows good takedown defense.
Darklance shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Amon eats them both and turns towards Darklance to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Darklance fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Amon avoids it really well and circles away.

Darklance is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Amon is just riding it out for now. Darklance eventually gives up the hold.
