Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Besik Shamba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Wolf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wolf is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Primus: John the Fisherman. Besik Shamba has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Johnny Wolf!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Konstantin Menshow and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shamba uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Wolf.
Wolf misses with a head kick.
Wolf shoots in and gets a takedown into Shamba's guard.
Wolf pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Shamba is keeping the position for now.
Wolf working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Shamba knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wolf on the ground.

Wolf postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Wolf is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
It looks like Wolf might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Johnny Wolf hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Wolf ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Shamba moves away.
Wolf shoots in for a double leg but Shamba sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Shamba leaves Wolf with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
A bone on bone clash there as Shamba blocks the leg kick.
Wolf looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Shamba!
Wolf takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Besik Shamba's cut is getting worse.
Wolf has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Wolf tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Wolf cracks Shamba with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Wolf is landing with some decent strikes but Shamba is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Jeez, Besik Shamba's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Besik Shamba's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
