Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Luke Lucas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jim Smith will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Luke Lucas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jim Smith!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Gwen Towbar and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith throws a head kick that misses.
Lucas closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Lucas lands in his opponent's guard.
Smith wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Lucas manages to pass to side control.
Lucas not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Smith is not content to let Lucas control the position.
Lucas wants to pass to mount but Smith is defending the position.
Lucas works his way into full mount!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Smith really wants to buck Lucas off and get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Smith working to try and regain half guard.
Smith swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
Lucas prevents Smith from getting the reversal.
Lucas lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Lucas lands a heavy elbow.
Smith is rocked!
Smith is desperately trying to improve his position but Lucas has a good base and remains in mount.
Smith is still in real trouble! Can Lucas finish him?
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Smith takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Lucas's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
