Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Storm Aurelius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sammy Bach (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Storm Aurelius has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sammy Bach!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bach rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Aurelius counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Bach wants to sweep here but Aurelius controlling him for the moment.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bach can do anything to dispel that myth.
Aurelius passes Bach's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Aurelius moves into full mount! Bach won't be happy about that!

Bach defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Aurelius.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Aurelius is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Bach to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Bach shrugs it off.
Bach is trying to stand up.
Bach really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Aurelius. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Bach is desperately trying to improve his position but Aurelius has a good base and remains in mount.

Aurelius working for a submission but Bach is keeping him at bay.

Bach defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Aurelius.

Aurelius swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Bach is now in Aurelius's guard. A big mistake from Aurelius there, giving up the dominant position!
Bach tries to free his leg and advance position but Aurelius is retaining full guard.
Bach must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Aurelius has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Bach should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Aurelius has tightened it up now! Bach should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
