Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Super Cool (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Super Hero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Super Cool!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Super Hero!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hero throws a head kick that misses.
Hero lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Cool is looking to clinch but Hero is avoiding it.
Hero swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Hero misses with a body kick.
Hero misses with a head kick.
Cool tries to clinch up but Hero circles away and keeps his distance.
Hero moves forwards but Cool connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Cool wants to clinch.
Cool moves into range and connects with a jab.
Hero throws a solid leg kick but Cool takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Hero.
Hero throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Cool takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Cool clinches up against the cage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hero prevents Cool from breaking the clinch.
Cool has Hero pressed against the cage, preventing Hero from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Cool keeps control of Hero as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Hero.
Hero wants to break the clinch but can't.
Hero is trying to push Cool away but Cool has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Hero tries to break free but Cool pushes him back against the cage.
Cool tries to break the clinch but Hero is controlling the position.
A frustrated look appears on Hero's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Hero escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Hero gets caught napping as Cool dives in and scores a takedown. Hero manages to retain guard.
Cool is stalling in the full guard.
Hero is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Cool is controlling him.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Cool works over Hero with some ground and pound from guard.
Cool is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Cool scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hero is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Cool seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Hero looking to hit a scissor sweep but Cool is one step ahead there.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Cool trying to control the position from guard on top but Hero is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Cool is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Cool in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Cool lands a couple of digs.
Cool has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Cool trying to control the position from guard on top but Hero is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Cool is working Hero over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Cool landing with the ground and pound.
Cool is pushing down on Hero's leg trying to pass to half guard. Hero is fighting to maintain full guard but Cool has managed to sneak the leg through.
Hero looks like he's trying to stand up.
Cool not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Cool controlling the action here.

Cool is looking for a kimura but Hero is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Cool to get the leverage.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hero is looking to control Cool's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Hero avoid being mounted?
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Super Cool dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Cool is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Hero's half guard.

Cool slips a nice elbow through Hero's hands, connecting with Hero's forehead.
Cool has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Hero really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cool. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Hero is wriggling around trying to escape.
Cool lands with some strikes.
Cool tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Cool lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Hero hang on?
Cool landing strikes, looking to finish!
Cool prevents Hero from getting the reversal.
Hero is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Cool in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.


Hero is rocked!

Hero is still in real trouble! Can Cool finish him?
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cool controlling the pace for now.
Hero tries to reverse the position but Cool maintains control.
Cool controlling the position easily from mount.
Cool fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cool is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Hero can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Oooooh, big shot lands for Cool! Hero is hurt baaadly! Cool is firing away with more strikes - Hero is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:53 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Super Cool!
