Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Forrest Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Beckring (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Penn might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to DMX - Ain't No Sunshine. Beckring has chosen Where Is My Mind as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jim Beckring!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Fedor Mirinova and Aleksei Zolotukhin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beckring takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Good leg kick by Penn there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Penn jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Penn loads up on a big right hand but Beckring slips the punch.
A looping hook to the body misses from Penn. Beckring does a little dance to reset his feet.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Beckring has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Beckring and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

That was a close second round but I would say that Forrest Penn will probably get the nod.
