Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Melvin The Young Assassin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jimmy Conway!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Robert Douchet and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Conway misses with an uppercut

and The Young Assassin counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The Young Assassin wants to control from the top but Conway keeps moving.
The Young Assassin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Conway on the ground.

Conway working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. The Young Assassin doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. The Young Assassin manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The Young Assassin tries to free his leg and advance position but Conway is retaining full guard.
The Young Assassin would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

The Young Assassin is fighting to break Conway's control of his arms but Conway is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

That's one minute gone in the round.

The Young Assassin got a little sloppy there for a moment and Conway has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, The Young Assassin has managed to get both his arms back between Conway's legs - danger averted.
Conway is pulling down on The Young Assassin's head. It's preventing any offense from The Young Assassin, at least for the moment.
The Young Assassin lands a couple of digs.
The Young Assassin wants to control from the top but Conway keeps moving.
The Young Assassin tries to stand but Conway is controlling from the bottom.

The Young Assassin tries to free his leg and advance position but Conway is retaining full guard.
The Young Assassin has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

The Young Assassin has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Conway to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! The Young Assassin is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Conway pulls down on the head and he's put The Young Assassin to sleep! This one is all over!
