The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smithson tries to clinch but Flintoff is having none of it.
Flintoff blocks a head kick by Smithson.
Smithson tries to close the distance and clinch but Flintoff swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Smithson fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Smithson.
Smithson takes one on the button.
Flintoff misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A slow jab from Smithson misses its intended target.
Flintoff cracks Smithson with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Flintoff has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Smithson to stand back up!
Smithson is rocked!
It looks like Willy Smithson has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Flintoff is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Smithson hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
