The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Van Dez, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Nice defenses there by Henderson.
Henderson misses with a hook. Van Dez ducked under it nicely.
Jan Van Dez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Henderson throws a series of punches but Van Dez moves out of range.
Henderson misses the jab.
Henderson lands with a good body shot.
A nice leg kick lands there from Van Dez.
Henderson jabbing away but nothing is landing.
The fighters circling - Henderson throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Henderson throws an overhand right that lands on Van Dez's shoulder, as Van Dez tries to avoid the shot.
Henderson lunges at Van Dez with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Van Dez's hand.
Van Dez ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Van Dez bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Henderson's head backwards.

It looks like Dany Henderson has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Van Dez lands a nice leg kick that just misses Henderson's sensitive parts.

Van Dez lands a leg kick that knocks Henderson off balance momentarily.
Van Dez pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Henderson back to the cage. Van Dez follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Van Dez lands with an uppercut that bounces Henderson off the cage and back into range.

Van Dez throws a front kick aimed at Henderson's knee but Henderson avoids it well.
Van Dez looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Henderson misses with a double jab.
Henderson takes a jab right on the kisser.
Van Dez misses with a straight left.

Van Dez drops Henderson with a beautiful combination! Henderson stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Van Dez is looking for the KO!

Henderson is rocked!
Van Dez lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Oh Henderson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Van Dez steps in with a hook that catches Henderson right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Van Dez follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Henderson looks absolutely devastated.
