The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kipei throws a sloppy head kick and Machio moves out of range easily.
Machio looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Machio blocks a head kick by Kipei.
Machio tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Kipei manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Kipei uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Machio.
Kipei scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

It looks like Ralph Machio has been cut.
Kipei lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Machio takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Machio backs away from a small jab...but Kipei lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Machio crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Kipei with a spectacular finish!
