Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bennet Amparo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reggie Lafleur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bennet Amparo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Reggie Lafleur!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Eliza Hachem and Hugh Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lafleur steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Amparo.
Amparo thumps Lafleur with a low kick.
Lafleur lands a jab-cross combination.

It looks like Bennet Amparo has been cut.
Amparo uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Lafleur.
Lafleur avoids a punch combination nicely.
Amparo smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Lafleur leaves Amparo with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Amparo throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Lafleur stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

and Amparo counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Amparo closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Amparo thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Amparo is working for a submission of some sort.
Lafleur regains full guard. Nicely done.

Lafleur working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Amparo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Amparo manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Amparo wants to control from the top but Lafleur keeps moving.
Amparo passes Lafleur's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Amparo is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Lafleur doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Amparo.

Amparo moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Lafleur.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lafleur wants to get back to his feet.

Amparo is trying to get an arm triangle but Lafleur is defending well.

Amparo thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Amparo is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Lafleur has escaped the position, nice work there.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Lafleur tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Amparo wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Lafleur manages to work his way to half guard, despite Amparo's best efforts.
Lafleur tries to kick Amparo off but Amparo keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Lafleur has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Amparo should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Lafleur has tightened it up now! Amparo should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
