Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Yuri Votrov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, John Mangel and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simpson lands a head kick. Votrov smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Simpson throws a sloppy head kick and Votrov moves out of range easily.
Simpson bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Simpson throws a head kick that Votrov semi-blocks.
Votrov fails with a takedown attempt.
Simpson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Votrov closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Simpson quickly recovers to half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Simpson tries to roll over but Votrov keeps him under control.
Votrov passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Simpson!
Votrov working for a guillotine from mount but Simpson is in no mood to give up.
Simpson is working to get back to half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Votrov takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Votrov working for a submission but Simpson is keeping him at bay.
Votrov is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Simpson can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Votrov looking to control and managing it successfully.
Votrov avoids the attempt from Simpson to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Votrov is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Simpson is in real trouble.
Votrov doesn't have the hooks in and Simpson manages to turn into his guard.
Simpson postures up in Votrov's guard and throws a big left but Votrov blocks it.
Simpson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Votrov is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Simpson stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Votrov has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Simpson manages to get his head free but now Votrov has transitioned to an armbar! Simpson grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Votrov! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
