The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yang shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Yang drops back looking for a leg! Sanderson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Sanderson manages to kick Yang off! Yang jumps back into Sanderson's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Yang working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Yang drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Yang jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Yang wants to control from the top but Sanderson keeps moving.
Sanderson throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Yang has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Yang stops Sanderson from standing up.
Sanderson wants to sweep here but Yang controlling him for the moment.
Yang trying to control the position from guard on top but Sanderson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Yang forces his way into half guard.
Yang maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Sanderson could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Yang has cracked it and Sanderson is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Yang!
