Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Paulo Santos and Alexandre Firmino.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lukens keeps the fight on the outside.
Svenn ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lukens moves away.
Svenn changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lukens tries to avoid it but Svenn manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lukens to the ground. Lukens escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Svenn misses with a low kick.
Lukens lands with a nice combination. Svenn backs away looking to recover.

Lukens clinches up with Svenn and pushes him back against the cage.

It looks like Johnny Lukens has been cut.
Svenn throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Lukens blocks it with crossed arms.
Lukens gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Svenn.

Svenn postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Lukens is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Svenn, into his guard.
Svenn is breathing heavily.
Lukens tries to free his leg and advance position but Svenn is retaining full guard.

Lukens sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Svenn's guard.
Svenn is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Nice sprawl there from Lukens as Svenn shoots in.
Svenn shoots in for a double leg but Lukens sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Lukens fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Svenn, pushing him back against the cage.
Svenn tries to score a body lock takedown but Lukens shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Svenn drops down looking for an ankle pick but Lukens pulls his leg out and moves away.
Lukens lands a nice leg kick that just misses Svenn's sensitive parts.
Svenn looks to land a right hand but Lukens moved out of range.
Svenn avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Svenn tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Lukens swivels and escapes.

Lukens breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Lukens stuffs the takedown attempt from Svenn. Svenn gets slowly back to his feet.
Svenn throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lukens's waist but Lukens gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Svenn off to one side.
Lukens tries to clinch but Svenn is having none of it.
Svenn shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lukens as he jumps to the side.

and Lukens counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Lukens.

With the fighters up against the cage, Svenn throws an elbow but misses.

Lukens is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Svenn can't fight it off and eventually Lukens manages to take the fight to the floor. Svenn looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Lukens wants to control from the top but Svenn keeps moving.

Lukens is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Svenn working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lukens doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Svenn is tightening it up a little... Lukens has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Lukens reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Lukens taps out! nice BJJ there by Svenn!
