PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eric Boose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Momoa Drogo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boose comes into the arena with Feel the Rush by Talib Kweli blaring out of the sound system. Drogo is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Sadeness, Part 1 by Enigma. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Momoa Drogo!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boose darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Drogo gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Drogo prevents Boose from breaking the clinch.
A right handed body shot lands from Drogo.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Drogo landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Boose is breathing heavily.
Drogo gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

It looks like Eric Boose has been cut.

Drogo decides to pull guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Drogo controls Boose momentarily but Boose frees himself.
Drogo tries to strike from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Drogo is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Drogo lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Boose!
Boose takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Drogo misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Drogo looking to isolate an arm here. Boose doesn't see it coming and as Drogo extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Drogo!

Momoa Drogo really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Charlie Wang's Nutrition and 95 % Laundry logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
